This is a benefit performance for the Henry Miller Memorial Library in Big Sur, which was recently threatened by the California wildfires. After much attention by local & state firefighters and many trips by water dropping helicopters the Library was saved. Spend an evening under the stars among the redwoods with DJ Spooky "That Subliminal Kid".
Musician, conceptual artist, producer and cutting edge audio innovator DJ Spooky performing a Live multimedia sound, music, & visual collage, remixing cultural personae incorporating recently discovered Ginsberg 1950's recordings, as well as audio of Henry Miller tuned specifically for the Redwood forest's acoustics.

a bit pricey but a very unique and intimate venue, and goes to a great cause. i'll probably be driving down if anyone wants to carpool from SF.
