The legendary DJ Biz Markie will host the East Coast’s
Largest Go-Go & Bike Fest on Saturday, July 10 on the front yard at
Colonial Downs in New Kent, VA.
The event will feature godfather of go-go Chuck Brown, Sugar Bear from
EU, Rare Essence, Trouble Funk, Kindred the Family Soul, the Fuzz
Band, Be’la Dona and many more bands.
Tickets are $25 and can be purchased online at
www.fridaysatsunset.com, at all Ticketmaster outlets and at the gate
on the day of the show.
The Go-Go & Bike Fest is a family event, so children under 12 enjoy
free admission. Anyone under the age of 21 must be accompanied by an
adult aged 21 years or older to enter.
Lawn chairs, blankets, picnic baskets and coolers are welcome, but
alcohol is prohibited. Tents are welcome only through advance
reservations. Call 644-8515 to reserve tent space.
The 2010 Go-Go & Bike Fest is presented by Virginia Tourism Corporation.
