Yes, this is a Do-It-Yourself Beatles Music & Dance event.

The way this works is some of the musicians on Bay Area Linkup rehearse a little bit beforehand, then everybody gets together to sing along, and dance to the songs. We sounded pretty good last time, and everybody danced their butts off!

It doesn't matter how good or bad we sound. It doesn't matter whether you are one of the people playing the music, or you just want to hang out and listen. This is all about having fun, no matter what happens.

We also use a video projector to project the lyrics on the wall, turning the entire event into a kind of tribal karaoke sing & stomp.

IMPORTANT: Because space is limited at this event, if you'd like to attend you must send an RSVP to beatles@linkupcentral.com, stating how many people will be in your group. Anyone who has not RSVP'd will be turned away at the door.

The words to all the songs as well as MP3's and cheat sheets will be available at http://www.linkupcentral.com/_files/beatles3/ a few days before the event, if you need to refresh your knowledge of the songs. All songs will be played in their original key on the recordings.

This is going to very cool, and lots of fun! See you there!
