The Dixon Place 19th Annual HOT! Festival is proud to present Smithsoniansmith, a Mondo Cane Commission choreographed and performed by Scotty Heron and HIJACK Dance; Kristin VanLoon and Arwen Wilder. Smithsoniansmith is a lovely, lo-fi, sci-fi mess. Dancing sculptors, builders and architects in the midst of a sexy, violent play. Performers courting the radical edge of dance, edge of trash, edge of decency. When everything has fallen apart Smithsoniansmith rises from the dust. The piece will run at Dixon Place, Thursday - Saturday July 29th, 30th & 31st and August 5th, 6th & 7th at 7:30pm.

The page at barcamp.org, which should be definitive, says it's from 6:30 to 8:30.

The demos usually start at 6:30 but get there at 6 if you want to get in. This one's going to be packed.

Why would the community create two interesting events on the same day - democamp and mobilemonday? Does this further the tech community?

How about joining forces and kicking off democamp with the mobility monday event - that way I can attend both and we just may attract more outsiders to both events?

I second hkirefu's comment

The MobileMonday folks were invited to join forces but politely declined. Perhaps the suggestion could be made to them?
