Dixie Swim Club Comedy at Hoosier Theater

From the authors’ of “Dearly Beloved” and “Christmas Belles”, a local cast will take the Hoosier Theater center stage for the smash hit comedy play “The Dixie Swim Club”. Performances are Friday and Saturday, Sept. 12 & 13 at 7 p.m., and Sunday, Sept. 14 at 2 p.m. at the theater located at 209 Ferry Street in downtown Vevay, IN.

Directed by Libby Kinman and featuring cast members Lisa Fisher, Tonya Krall, Jenny Miller, Adele Percer and Angie Satterfield, the story is set around five southern women whose friendship began on their college swim team.

Free from husbands, kids and jobs, the group set aside a long weekend every August to recharge their friendships. Meeting at the same beach cottage on North Carolina’s outer banks, the friends would laugh, catch up, and meddle in each other’s lives. The story focuses on four of those weekends that span a period of 33 years.
