Fr. David Medow, Pastor of St. Mary Immaculate Parish announced that the parish will celebrate a Divine Mercy Prayer and Reconciliation Service on Sunday, April 11, at 3:00 p.m. in the Parish Church, 15629 South Route 59 in Plainfield. All are welcome.
In April 2000, Pope John Paul II declared that “The Second Sunday of Easter will be called Divine Mercy Sunday” recalling that Jesus promised those who fittingly observe the Divine Mercy Feast, will receive complete forgiveness of sin and all temporal punishment associated with sin.
Confessions will begin at 3:00 p.m. & continue throughout the prayer service. We invite participants to continue the celebration by also attending Mass at 6:00 p.m.
Please plan to participate in this wonderful celebration of God’s mercy! Visit www.Marian.org for more information from the National Shrine of Divine Mercy.
