Divas, Diamonds and Ivories, Masterworks Chorale's Gala Evening of Arias and Love Songs Featuring Serenade Chamber Choir April 24, 2010

Masterworks Chorale invites you to an evening of magnificent music and song performed in San Francisco's most beautiful and historic fine arts museum - the Legion of Honor. This gala event features world-famous opera arias performed by outstanding Bay Area soloists Kristen Brown, soprano, Lisa Houston, mezzo-soprano, and Brian Thorsett, tenor, including selections from Strauss and Rossini. Accomplished pianists Dr. Bryan Baker and Inara Morgenstern join forces for Richard Rodney Bennett's Suite for Two Pianos. And the sparkling voices of Serenade Chamber Choir will sing an array of soulful spirituals and love songs, ranging from Robert Burns to Phantom of the Opera.
