Distinguished Writer Series and Open Mic February 13, 2009

This monthly event features a distinguished writer and an open mic for poets, playwrights, short story writers, and others. This month features poet and artist Eileen Fix of Seattle. She has been writing poetry for more than 11 years and is one of the original performers/ founders of the Little Red Studio in Seattle. Her work is at times very sensual and erotic and in other writings shares her experiences of dealing with M.S. Open Mic sign-up is at 6:30 pm. Admission is free. The event occurs monthly the second Friday of every month at King's Books. Sponsored by the Tacoma Arts Commission and the Puget Sound Poetry Connection.
