Director's Choice: Lianna Monnie November 27, 2010

Silvermine's Director's Choice exhibition showcases new works by Greenwich artist Lianna Monnie, whose paintings spring from a love and appreciation of nature. Her art reflects what she sees now and what she has experienced throughout her life. The works in this exhibit represent the artist's more recent exploration into her signature Haiku. Family members composed Haiku verses using nature as an inspiration, with Lianaa's work in mind. The results reflect the writer's feelings of nature and their emotional responses to the artists work.
