Dinosaur Trail Grand Opening July 24, 2009

An unforgettable journey to the Late Cretaceous period–77 million to 65 million years ago. Weave along the half-mile forest path and witness life-sized dinosaur models, including the 65-foot-long Alamosaurus.
Then, grab a shovel and bucket and play paleontologist in the fossil dig site. The dirt, which once lived on the ocean floor millions of years ago, contains fossils that are 23 to 5 million years old. Permanent component of the new Dinosaur Trail exhibit.
