The food of Rome is as romantic as the Trevi fountain. In the streets you would see vendors selling huge Globe Artichokes, slices of ham and Prosciutto, and chickpea fritters. To cool you off from the Roman heat, a cool, creamy tiramisu would do the trick. And of course, pasta is king.
Note: the dessert is made ahead. Most all of our desserts are taught in our Baking classes should you be more interested in the Baking side of things.
Appetizer: Fava bean, sweet pea, bacon and Pecorino cheese with crusty bread
Entree: Fresh made Pasta Carbonara - a creamy, comforting concoction of Italian Sausage, bacon, cream, and homemade pasta
Dessert: Classic espresso drenched Tiramisu
Vegetarians - omit bacon and sausage in carbonara. Please let us know you are attending so we can plan substitutions accordingly.
