Dinner & Show - Russian Accents February 26, 2009

Celebrate music, movement and magic from the region! Once upon a time, native song, dance and food fed the spirits of Eastern Europe’s proud people. For many years, those rich, cultural traditions were veiled behind the Soviet Iron Curtain. Today, they are performed in this special live presentation, Russian Accents. From the seductive dance of the Roma gypsies and songs of Ukraine’s nomadic Kazaks, to today’s modern interpretive dance, Russian Accents celebrates the colorful folklore and heritages that accent regions in and near both Old and New Mother Russia. Special guest appearances by live bear ambassadors, Lucy and Tootsie of Welde Bears. (Animal participation in show subject to change. A portion of the show proceeds will go to benefit Bearadise Ranch in Myakka City, a natural bear habitat.)
