This introductory class is for digital photographers who want to establish a simple and intuitive workflow from capture to print. Easy-to-use, affordable, and powerful, Adobe Lightroom is the perfect program for photographers of all experience levels to efficiently organize, adjust, and output large quantities of digital images.
The course will give an overview of all aspects of using Lightroom with particular focus on organizing, adjusting, and outputting images. Students will learn to import images and organize them using Lightroom's easily manageable catalog system. From here, we will utilize Lightroom's developing capabilities to make adjustments including color correction, exposure, contrast, and retouching. As the final step in our workflow, we will learn to output images for various purposes such as printing, emails, slide shows, and websites.
