This one-day class is for those who took our popular Digital SLR Tutorial or have previous knowledge and want to further understand how to apply their skills in real-world situations. Each session travels to a different shooting location, such as the Historic District or Reading Terminal Market, where students experiment with how key concepts come together in practice.
Under the guidance of an instructor, students play with combinations of aperture, shutter speed, depth of field, focal length and white balance in various lighting conditions. Participants are also exposed to other elements which are essential to successful photographs: composition, use of negative and positive space, proportion, and hierarchy of visual importance.
If you are someone who learns by doing, this class is a perfect fit!
