No. 4 Jalan Conlay
Kuala Lumpur, Kuala Lumpur

With almost 60% of all Malaysians online and with the proven influence of blogging in the election of March 2008, the Internet
is an important communications and PR channel for engaging Malaysian stakeholders of a wide range of ages, backgrounds
and interests.

In the last 24 months, there has been a significant paradigm shift in online PR potential. Most of this is focused around search as
well as social media such as blogs, video sharing sites such as YouTube, social networks such as Facebook, content syndication
through RSS and so on. Many of these channels can be exploited for stakeholder communications to a variety of a company's
stakeholders at little or no cost if you know how. The workshop will focus on no cost and low cost practical strategies illustrated through best practices, case studies and hands-on activities and group discussions, all designed for professionals
interested in online public relations.

The workshop will highlight a variety of new, no cost and low cost tools, techniques and methods for:
• online public relations, performance measurement and reputation management
• content syndication and blogging
• monitoring and repair for Google search results

There will also be a special module dedicated on ways to approach public relations online in times of crisis.
