Join us for the first DMC meeting of 2008, hosted by the Austin Film Society. We'll tour Austin Studios, home to many motion picture productions, then dive into our plans for the year.
The Digital Media Council fosters partnerships between industry and educators to promote the economic growth of creative technology and design industries in Central Texas.
From our annual summer institutes for high school teachers to coordinating Beta testing for leading game companies; from placing industry leaders in the classroom to advocating for digital media support from policy makers; from engaging university leaders about digital media education needs to helping employers improve their talent pool, the DMC is there.

Golly, I wish I could attend this, but it's during the work day. Are there DMC events in the evening? I work for a local educational media company, so this is of professional interest to me, but it's not worth two hours out of the day.
