Imagining the Future is the theme for the inaugural lab.3000 Digital Design Biennale,an international exhibition that showcases the State-of-the-digital-art and the ways in which it impacts on every facet of our everyday lives. The world of design is inhabited by architects, web and graphic designers, artists, new media practitioners, engineers, students, film-makers, composers... all of whom use digital technology to conceive and create new environments. Economically, culturally and socially, the Biennale positions Victoria as a world-leading design centre through industry, education and institutions and reflects the many and varied ways to literally employ the imagination.

In imagining the future we supposed a multi-disciplinary platform where innovation is driven by sustainability, where science meets art and the future of design is now.
