DIGIPEN SINGAPORE HOLDS INFORMATION SESSIONS
Expands current degree offerings, launch two degree programmes in Game Design

DigiPen Institute of Technology-Singapore is hosting a series of information sessions for prospective students and their families for its upcoming 2nd intake recruitment. These sessions provide an opportunity for visitors to:

•Learn how DigiPen's innovative curriculum and dedicated faculty prepare students for serious careers in the digital interactive industries
•Meet key members of the faculty and staff
•Speak with admissions representatives
•View samples of students' projects, games, and artwork

As the world’s first college to offer a bachelor’s degree program dedicated to game development, DigiPen Institute of Technology has long been the top choice for students pursuing a career in the digital interactive media industry. This year, in addition to the degrees in real-time interactive simulation and production animation, DigiPen is launching two new degree programmes in Game Design to prospective students.

•Bachelor of Science in Game Design (B.S.G.D.) - new
Game design is a cross-disciplinary field of study encapsulating the artistic and scientific processes involved in conceiving, scripting and implementing interactive computer/video games. This degree combines coursework in computer science, mathematics, physics, game design theory, arts, humanities and social sciences with team-based projects to provide students with academic, technical foundation and practical skills required to design, script and program games.

•Bachelor of Arts in Game Design (B.A.G.D.) - new
While the B.Sc. in Game Design concentrates on the scientific processes involved in designing games, this B.A. degree focuses on the artistic aspects of Game Design. This degree combines coursework in game design theory, arts, humanities and social sciences with team-based projects to provide students with the academic, technical and creative foundation and practical skills required to design, script, and create art content for games.
