Blessed with a wonderfully versatile voice, Dianne Reeves has been known to shift from jazz to R&B, pop to African music, but she always comes back to the jazz for which she is most popular. Esperanza Spalding has forged an impressive and varied career as a bassist, singer and composer. Since relocating to the East Coast from Portland, Oregon, the Berklee graduate has worked with Michel Camilo, Dave Samuels, Regina Carter, Joe Lovano and Patti Austin.
