Dialogue with Green Party Candidate Gary Murrell August 15, 2008

Dr. Gary Murrell, the Green Party candidate for the 6th Congressional District, will engage in a community dialogue about his candidacy and issues in the district. Murell seeks an immediate withdrawal of American forces in Iraq, affordable education, campaign reforem, Constitutional restoration, civil liberties, and single-payer not-for-profit health care.

Dr. Gary Murrell is a long-term Hoquiam resident who has taught history and political science at Grays Harbor College for the past 15 years. He is a member of the American Federation of Teachers - Washington (who have endorsed his candidacy). He is a committed civil libertarian and has served on the state boards of both the Oregon and Washington chapters of the ACLU.
