The Highballers, a DC-based roots rock-tinged country band, play The Wonderland Ballroom on Wed, Nov. 2 (Day of the Dead) playing songs from favorite dearly departed musicians and bands--heavy on the Gram Parsons (whose birthday is November 5).
There will be a Dia de los Muertos altar upstairs near the stage where people will be welcome to add to it with a picture or other object to memorialize someone.
Chocolate City Beer will also be unveiling a new themed beer for the occassion: Cerveza Nacional de la Capital.
