Detroit Free Press / Flagstar Marathon October 18, 2009

The event consists of a full and half marathon that start on Fort Street in Detroit, Michigan, runs over the Ambassador Bridge into Windsor, Ontario, Canada. Proceeds along the waterfront of Windsor and then re-enters Detroit through the tunnel, for the only race with an underwater mile. The race continues through several of Detroits more famous areas such as Mexican village, Greektown, Indian Village, Belle Isle, and returns to downtown along the Riverwalk. Requires passport or equivalent for crossing international border. Credential pickup required on October 16 or 17.
