Seattle’s “The Last Supper Club” showcases Tacoma Artist Desiree Flerchinger

Who: Desiree Flerchinger
What: DesireeArt Showcase
Where: The Last Supper Club, 124 S. Washington St., Seattle, WA
When: March 2009
Why: Because once these pieces sell (and they do!) you will probably never get to see them in person again, and that’s just not right 

Men will find themselves feeling both on guard and smitten by some of the women that come to life in Desiree’s art. Women will connect with the characters in this collection and relate to the emotions they convey.

Desiree’s paintings express a female perspective through emotional characters often inspired by her friends. The work can be direct and dark, but still very whimsical and enticing. The paintings flirt and tantalize the eye with items that sparkle and reflect (with the use of multi-media, three-dimensional effects) and almost seem to beg, “Haven’t you noticed me yet?”

Preview samples of Desiree’s art at DesireeArt.com. You can also find the artist on MySpace and Facebook. Most of the pieces are larger-than-life size and have elements that even the best camera cannot fully capture. We invite you to come see the works in person at the following event:

Meet Desiree during Art Walk March 5th.
The last time her art was displayed in Seattle, Desiree’s art was selected as “Pick Of The Week” in Seattle Weekly Newspaper and her work has been displayed consistently around Tacoma in all the best art hangouts.
