Imagine your flower garden alive with the buzzing of bees, birdsong, fluttering butterflies, and the antics of hummingbirds. Learn how to attract and support our native wildlife by using indigenous plants in your garden. Under the guidance of an experienced organic landscape designer, participants will create a design for their own nature gardens. The sanctuary's backyard bird habitat garden and butterfly gardens will be used as a source of inspiration. Graph paper as well as lists of plant materials for attracting wildlife to your garden will be provided. You will take home a completed design for your new nature garden. Registration is required. Call 978-887-9264 for details. See http://www.massaudubon.org/catalog/listing.php?program_code=329-IP11SP1 for more information.
