"DESIGN WARS" KICKS-OFF SIMON FASHION NOW AT TOWN CENTER AT BOCA RATON ON SEPT. 23 WITH GA GA OVER FASHION CHALLENGE

Mall Seeking Avant-Garde Creations as Part of National Runway Fashion Event

If you are as ga ga over fashion as you are about the first lady of pop, Lady Gaga, Town Center at Boca Raton is looking for you! South Florida's premier luxury shopping destination is seeking the most outrageous and avant-garde creations to be part of its "Design Wars" competition that will be showcased during Simon Fashion Now, the nation's premier, trendsetting free-to-the public fashion event coming to Town Center at Boca Raton on September 23-24, 2011.

This year's "Design Wars" theme will challenge local designers, students and fashionistas to go Ga Ga Over Fashion by submitting colorful sketches detailing their vision of Lady Gaga's iconic, eccentric and eclectic sense of style. Glitter, glam, day-glo, leather and lace... entrants are invited to stretch their imaginations. The most original creations will be selected to be showcased on http://www.facebook.co... and ultimately brought to life by their designers at Town Center at Boca Raton during Simon Fashion Now. Facebook fans will be encouraged to vote for their favorite sketches. A panel of celebrity judges will then evaluate the live creations during Simon Fashion Now. The Shopper Fan Favorite will receive a $250 Simon gift card and Judges Choice winner will receive a $500 Simon gift card.

The submission deadline for designers is Friday, August 5, 2011 at 5 p.m.
