Angie Stevens, recognized in 2006 and 2007 as Denver's Best Singer/Songwriter by Westword (Colorado's biggest alt-weekly), is a passionate, soulful alt-country singer/songwriter who performs with the power of a freight train: Patty Griffin coupled with Janis Joplin.
Stevens tours frequently, has received airplay on radio stations around the country and in Europe, and has been profiled in a number of newspapers, magazines, and on Comcast's monthly music series, Noise:Floor. Her video, "Stand Up Girl," was a pick of the week on CMT's "Top 20 Countdown" show. She will be playing at the Monolith Festival at Red Rocks Amphitheater on September 14. And her song, "Sleepwalking," will be featured on an upcoming episode of "Big Love."
