Heidelberg spring meeting of Democrats Abroad. Key items include election of international and regional officers, caucus process overview, the very important delegate selection plan for the 2008 Convention , and DNC training as well as exciting speakers t.b.d..

I encourage you to take advantage of early flight and hotel booking price savings by acting now. Room blocks are available at reserved prices until January 15 or Feb 1 as described below.

Tentative Schedule:
Thursday, March 15: Evening reception hosted by DA Germany.

Friday, March 16- Saturday, March 17: All day business meetings, including reports and election of international and regional officers, DNC nominating convention 2008 delegate selection plan, training sessions, caucus process overview, strategic planning for 2007-08, significant speakers, resolutions, gala dinner.

Sunday, March 18: Unfinished business and/or additional training sessions (morning only) with time for Heidelberg touring.

We aim to complete the bulk of our business by Saturday evening to enable those who face long return flights to get back to work on Monday morning. However, with a considerable amount of work to accomplish, we may continue through mid-day Sunday, March 18.
DA Germany promises to make this the best Dems Abroad meeting ever.
We are all happy to help DA Germany achieve that distinction as Democrats go to work on re-shaping American government and practice. We need to work now to win the White House in 2008. Our meeting will help prepare us to do just that. We'll have fun doing it, too.
