WORKSHOP OVERVIEW
This two-day interactive course is designed to give a broad overview of Demand Forecasting processes and techniques, and to describe how the function fits within the organization. It will highlight the benefits to expect from improved forecast quality and critical behaviours which make forecasting successful in time. Delegates are welcome to bring their laptops with their own data sets as they will have the opportunity to tackle numbers and play roles in a forecast review session. Discussion between attendees is also expected to fuel experience exchange during the course.
ABOUT YOUR COURSE FACILITATOR
The trainer has 25 years of experience in Supply Chain Management & Logistics, both at operational and corporate levels, in few different industries.
Has experience handling supply chain projects for companies of all sizes where the industries ranges from chemicals, oil, automotive, textile, food & drinks and airline catering services.
Trainer also redesigned the retail distribution network of a major telecommunication operator which included locations, product assortment definition with business units, demand forecasting and supply policies
Clients include Shell Chemicals, TOTAL Elf Atochem, Nestlé Waters, HP, Compaq, Air France, Nokia, Siemens, Orange, Rolls-Royce, and Peugeot.
Trainer will cover extensively topics from demand forecasting techniques, data interpreting and actions to amend forecast inaccuracy.
This workshop will also include practical exercises that focus in data interpretation and using different forecast methods.
