Seeks VolleyGirls for 2009 Event
Deadline January 16, 2009
The Delray Beach International Tennis Championships (ITC) is looking to add personable, enthusiastic, and energetic ladies to their already infamous promotional team, the VolleyGirls. The Delray Beach ITC is one of 12 ATP men’s professional tennis tournaments in the States and attracts fan phenoms and pillars of the sport such as Agassi, Blake, Roddick, Haas, Baghdatis, Fish, the Bryan Brothers, and more in recent years. Notorious for intimacy and revelry like only Delray Beach can inspire, the ITC has combined the grace of the game’s history and elegance of its fluid motion with the brash showmanship of modern sport and dramatic theater kin to mind-tingling motion picture.
The Delray Beach ITC’s fan-favorite attraction not always being their stars battling on center court but the supporting cast they build them up with…Enter the VolleyGirls. Introduced in 2007, the VolleyGirls became the iconic figure of the ITC both on-site and in the community. Infectiously enthusiastic and undeniably engaging, the VolleyGirls are the vision of the ITC’s “Award of Excellence” winning event and a tangible reality for their loyally addicted fans. From the tournament’s sponsors’ private parties in the exclusive Hospitality Pavilion to PR engagements with players on-air in TV and radio- land to personal “Girl Fan” appearances at the slickest and hippest Delray Beach and Palm Beach County spots and parts north and south, growing the image, presentation and awareness of the Girls is a great and wonderful priority for the Delray Beach ITC.
VolleyGirls must be at least 21 years old, sporty, possess zest, wit, charm and infectious spirit. VolleyGirls are employed as part-time working representatives. The hours are flexible, and begin a month prior to the actual tournament—February 21-March, 2009.
