Philadelphia native King Britt escapes all boundaries
of a single category by expressing his creations
through deep house, hip-hop, broken beat, nu-jazz,
funk and afro-tech. As a dj he bagan in 1992 with the
Grammy winning Digable Planets. He then moved onto
the Sylk130 collective with performers including
Ursula Rucker. As a remix producer King has flipped
and funked everyone from Macy Gray and Yoko Ono
to Femi Kuti, and Curtis Mayfield.
