Philadelphia native Ursula Rucker returns to
Deep Space to join Francois K. for a much
anticipated collaboration. Ursula carves
emotion with piercing lyrical cadence.

Her recent album There is where poetry and music
intertwine, melodies and words mingle. Her
recordings and collaborations have brought her
together with such artists as Josh Wink, the Roots,
4Hero, King Britt, Beat Pharmacy, Jazzanova,
Louie Vega and Jamaaladeen Tacoma. She is also
a powerful global activist and at Deep Space her
bold performance is apt to remind us of the
tremendous social and political insights
expressed by dub poets of past and present.
