Decorate Your Ride Contest and Join In the Douglas Memorial Day Parade May 9, 2011

On MAY 29, 2011 The Douglas Historical Society is sponsoring a Decorate Your Ride Contest with participation in the MEMORIAL DAY PARADE. Decorate your bicycle, baby carriage (real or doll), wagon or scooter in a red, white and blue theme and walk along in the parade. After the parade, all contestants will meet back at the E.N. Jenckes Store Museum where judging will take place. Prizes and Ribbons are available with light refreshments being served. Come on down! All proceeds are to go toward the upkeep and maintenance of the E.N. Jenckes Store.
