'Debriefing' is a photography exhibition by Michael Burr, Peggy Fontenot, James K. Johnson and Lynn Pedigo. The exhibition provides candid reflections of Vietnam and the war's imprint on those who were touched. Using traditional film cameras, the four 'Debriefing' artists portray diverse yet complimentary perspectives. The black and white images by Burr and Johnson depict soldiers, civilians, Saigon and wartime battlegrounds. Producing expressive portraits of veterans, Fontenot's camera focuses on individuals. Pedigo exposes a contrasting counterpoint by revealing states of current-day Vietnamese culture and the landscape. By combining these four perspectives, 'Debriefing' provides a glimpse of the complexity of the war and its aftermath.
