Debating Discovery December 9, 2012

Are words your most powerful tool? Would you like to learn how to use your words in a more effective manner? This workshop is an introduction to the basic elements of Debating. Come and join us as we participate in fun group and individual speaking activities designed to build confidence, fluency and clarity. You will develop the ability to "think on your feet" in order to respond to a wide range of topics, and construct arguments and rebuttals, gaining the necessary skills for formal debating. No previous experience with debating is required, however, a desire to learn, willingness to speak in front of an audience and a positive approach to team work is essential.
