Debating 101 Workshop for Young Professionals: Be more persuasive in your business and community April 8, 2009

JCI Toronto welcomes the Toronto Debating Society who will present an education session on basic debating skills, conduct a demonstration using the topic "Romance at 50 is better than at 20" and will run multiple brief inpromptu debates for attendees who would like to participate.

Many business executives, lawyers, corporate trainers, sales people and politicians have focused on developing their debating skills early in their careers. This workshop is aimed at young professionals and entrepreneurs who want to gain leadership skills, network and have fun.

This workshop can also help prepare JCI members who are interested in participating in the upcoming JCI Conference of the Americas Debating Competition and the World Debating Championship.
