"The Trouble with Things Being Too Good: Dealing with the Experience of enduring Happiness"
A formally informal lecture and an interactive evening with Carl Buchheit.
As it says on the NLP Marin website and elsewhere in our published materials, one of the main purposes of all of our NLP Marin classes is "to prepare our students for the experience of enduring happiness." We are delighted with this nifty double entendre. We offer it deliberately because, given the scope and intensity of what happens during our trainings, we want our prospective students to know the kind of happiness trouble they are going to be getting themselves into. It seems only fair.
During this next installment of our "Evenings with Carl" series, Carl Buchheit (Co-Founder of NLP Marin) will be talking about happiness in general, and specifically about what it is that seems to cause all of us human beings to have such a problem with it. How does this happen and-perhaps a little bit-WHY? It is even possible that Carl will have an idea or two about how we might do things a little differently, but he tells us not to count on this, because thinking about it makes him sad.
Please come join us. As always in the "Evenings with Carl," we will spend most of our time laughing and trying to figure out what he is talking about. There will be plenty of time for questions and learned disputation. Quality snack products, purchased from local Big Box Retailers, will be provided in moderate amounts at the break.
