Born and raised in Ontario, Canada, Joel Zimmerman is also known as "deadmau5" or "Halcyon441." As a progressive house/minimal trance and techno producer and DJ, Deadmau5 (pronounced "dead mouse") was called the most notable producer for 2007 by colleagues Tiesto and Armin Van Buuren.

Went to the show last night and it was utterly amazing. The Whip only had a 3 song set but it was awesome none the less. Parking nearby at the BU Parking Lot worked out well, moved the car to a free street spot at 10:45 PM since the BU lot closes at 11. Went back inside to KEEP enjoying Deadmau5. The crowd was extremely friendly.
At the start of Deadmau5, I went across the floor and someone gave me a red/blue glow stick and a green glowstick. After losing those 2 amidts the dancing chaos, the guy with the cape and wizard hat gave me finger lights to rave with. I was on the left side, lower down balcony with the white shirt and phoenix tattoo on my right arm (doing backflips, etc).
I had an amazing night and my friend turned 19 when the clock hit 12, no better way to enjoy a birthday than last night's concert!
