De Colores Art Festival April 24, 2009

The De Colores Art Show & Festival brings the community together to celebrate the diversity of the Latino experience with art, music, and dance. Xavier Montes has presented the De Colores Art Show & Festival for fifteen years beginning in Santa Barbara, Santa Paula, and now in Ventura. In support of this city sponsored event, and to support the De Colores organization, the San Buenaventura Artists Union is donating the use of the upstairs and down stairs portions of the Artists Union Gallery. On display will be over 50 works of art by various Latino artists. For many of these artists this will be the first time exhibiting their art in a professional gallery setting!
