The Philadelphia Museum of Art and Raices Culturales LatinoAmericanas, Inc. co-sponsor this celebration of El Dia de Muertos, the Mexican Day of the Dead. Festivities include art-making, storytelling, Mexican folktales, face painting and special performances by Fuego Nuevo Pre-Columbian Dance Group (Aztec Dance) and Familia Rojas featuring the Bomba, one of Puerto Rico's most famous musical styles brought to the Commonwealth during the colonial slave trade from Ghana and Nigeria, West Africa.
