Get your booty shakin' with a day of beginning-level dance classes for people of all sizes in hip hop, lyrical jazz, belly dance and Bollywood, taught by experienced, size-positive instructors. Four classes, four instructors, four genres, four chances to find a style of dance you love…all for FREE! And if that wasn’t enough, we are throwing in an informal performance showcase featuring the Phat Fly Girls-West Coast and guests at the end of the day.

Day of Dance Schedule
All classes are beginning-level
10:00am: Registration opens
10:15am: Introduction and warm-up
10:30am: Lyrical Jazz with Jessica Judd,

3:15pm: Performance showcase
featuring Phat Fly Girls-West Coast, members of NaachDuniya dance company and Sadiyah.
You can take all four classes or just one…but if you’re in the studio you gotta move—no spectators! Registration will remain open throughout the day, but you must show up at least 10 minutes prior to the beginning of the first class you wish to take in order to register. You are also welcome to not take any classes and just come for the performance showcase at 3:00pm.
Wear clothing you are comfortable moving and sweating in, and bring plenty of water and a lunch. Dance shoes or bare feet/socks only—absolutely no street shoes in the studio! 18+ only, open to all genders, sizes and skill-levels.
