Meet at: lake bathhouse. Did you know that Lycopodium obscurum and Lycopodium digitatum grow side by side in Hanging Rock State Park? Do you know why some of the waters in the park are as pristine as any other? I will hope to answer you questions when you join us for a hike in Hanging Rock State Park. We will hike portions of the Lake, Chestnut Oak, Magnolia,, and Wolf Rock Trails. These trails will give you an idea of how important our state parks are in preserving North Carolina's natural heritage as well as preserving a place of peace and solitude.
