Join us for a full day at the Met, New York's premier museum, with many exciting special exhibits. The Essential Art of African Textiles: Design Without End showcases dazzling textile designs that are an important form of aesthetic expression. See diverse classical textile genres from West Africa, including some of the earliest documented and finest works.
Steep yourself in light with Pierre Bonnard: The Late Interiors. In 75 paintings, drawings, and watercolors dating from 1923-1947, Bonnard used raking light and a shimmering palette to transform random objects into pulsating color.
Additionally, Cast in Bronze: French Sculpture from Renaissance to Revolution, Raphael to Renoir: Drawings from the Collection of Jean Bonna and Reality Check: Truth and Illusion in Contemporary Photography are there for your enjoyment.
To supplement the numerous dining options at the museum, a list of local restaurants will be provided on the bus.
