Dawn at the Alamo and Remember the Alamo Weekend March 6, 2009

Each year, Dawn at the Alamo and the Remember the Alamo weekend commemorate the 13-day battle that took place and helped gain independence for Texas from Mexico. There are reenactments, historical demonstrations, and music to entertain visitors throughout the multiple day event.
