The 4th annual David Thornton Football Camp will take place on Saturday, June 27th at the Goldsboro
High School football fields and is open to the first 250 young football players between the ages of 8-18.
The free camp will be coached by Tennessee Titans Linebacker David Thornton, other NFL players,
former college players and local youth and high school coaches. Parents and the general public are welcome as spectators.
A Junior Camp will be held for ages 8 to 13 and a Senior Camp for ages 14 to 18. Registration will be
held from 8:00 to 8:45 am and both camps will be conducted from 9:00 am until 1:00 pm. In each
session, players receive instruction in all aspects of football, including: passing, rushing, receiving,
line play, blocking, and pass and run defense. Fundamentals and techniques of each position are
taught and practiced.
