The David Suzuki Foundation is organizing an inspirational cross-country tour, January 31st to February 28, 2007, with David Suzuki to give Canadians a united voice for political action on the environment.

Its theme, If I were prime minister…refers, not to David Suzuki, but to all Canadians, as the tour is really about empowerment and engagement in the political process. Public concern for environmental issues has reached record levels and this happens to coincide with an upcoming federal election. Now is the time to speak up and get leaders of all parties to commit to real action on the environment.
