Descending at The Morton Arboretum this Mother’s Day weekend will be David Rogers’ Big Bugs. The exhibit will be open from May 10 to September 8, free with admission. On display will be an oversized bee hive, lady bug, assassin bug, damsel fly, spider, daddy long legs, praying mantis, dragon fly, grasshopper and three ants—all made from natural materials. Being towered over by these immense insects gives guests a glimpse at what it must feel like to be the size of a bug. Children will receive a free bug detective guide, helping them uncover the truth about bugs. Plus, they can take part in daily events to learn more about bugs. Free with Arboretum admission.
