The operatic pop singer David Miller of multiplatinum pop quartet Il Divo will perform his first Chicagoland solo concert with the acclaimed Chicagoland Pops Orchestra, conducted by Grammy winning artist and Chicago resident Arnie Roth, at The Rosemont Theatre, 5400 N. River Road, on Friday, December 21 at 8 pm.
Miller is one of the most recognized and successful young American singers in the world, fueled by his fame as an acclaimed tenor in Il Divo, the international operatic pop group created by pop impresario Simon Cowell. The quartets multiplatinum albums have launched him into international superstardom and allowed him to once again showcase his smooth operatic tenor voice. Previously, Miller has worked with some the top opera companies in the world through numerous starring roles with the Los Angeles Opera, Pacific Opera, Australian Opera and Baz Luhrmanns Tony-award winning Broadway version of Puccinis La Boheme. He performed for President Bill Clinton at the White House, and other acclaimed appearances include The Oprah Winfrey Show, Late Night with David Letterman and The Today Show. The concert combines Millers stellar vocals with the award-winning instrumentals of the Chicagoland Pops Orchestra and is a perfect early holiday gift. Individual tickets to the Friday, December 21 performance at 8 pm are priced at $55 and $40.
The first half of the concert will feature a special performance by The American Girl
