Growing up by the state line of Tennessee and Virginia, storyteller David Massengill has more than his share of tales to recount. Armed with an Appalachian style dulcimer, Massengill relates tales of growing up in the backwoods of Tennessee; memories of swearing relatives, chasing bobcats, and rural peculiarities flow off his tongue with a gracious humor and easygoing manner.
