BRAVO!!! What an amazing show! The opening bands were the same kind of music you always hear (Ottmar Liebeert, etc.), but when I saw David Maldonado, I was very surprised. I've seen him at the Coach House in San Juan Capistrano and never ceaces to amaze me. I'm a guitarist also and I thinkg David has brought the guitar into the millenium. Nobody is playing like this.

I listened to this album in the international section of a record store and fell in love with it. They were sold out. Luckily,I could get the new one at his concert. The ryhthms stir the blood! Wide range of appeal, from a friend who is a musician and an acoustic guitarist to my young children-everyone who has listened to it has enjoyed it. I am going to get another of their albums.

I saw the concert last month too and got the new cd signed. My girlfriends were too shy to talk to him but I wasn't and even got a hug. Now they're jealous. That's all I have to say. ;)

David Maldonado--heavy metal meets flamenco and heavy metal wins--the audience, in my opinion, loses. I was highly disappointed in this over-produced, highly electrical debasement of a beautiful musical style--flamenco. How did he ever win a "Besst soloist" award from the King of Spain?
