Proficient on guitar, violin, mandolin and banjo, Bromberg's music contains elements of folk, blues, bluegrass and rock. Comedy and lengthy narrative stories are often inserted between choruses. The Angel Band, New Hampshire's premiere Celtic string ensemble, performs works by Turlough O'Carolan, Ireland's national composer, as well as a variety of lively traditional Irish tunes and more contemporary Celtic pieces.
